‘Ulu Ocean Grille and Sushi Lounge

‘Ulu has been consistently known as the top restaurant on the Big Island of Hawaii if you are looking for ambiance as well as an amazing feel. Here you will find a Pacific Rim cuisine as well as a selection of some of the best sushi on the island. All of this is offered on an oceanfront setting so you can enjoy the sounds of the ocean and amazing sunsets. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating to choose from. If you are just looking for a nice place to have an evening cocktail, ‘Ulu is also the place for you.
‘Ulu is also the location that breakfast is served. You can choose from enjoying a nice buffet or choosing something from the menu.

Our favorite dish: Souffles. Each night there is a souffle special and they are all great.

Beach Tree Restaurant

If you are looking for something more casual, Beach Tree is the place for you. This restaurant is also located on the ocean and offers covered as well as outdoor seating. This restaurant has a simple, but nice menu. This is a great dining location for families. Many nights there is also live music played in the lawn area off of Beach Tree. If you are looking to dine somewhere for lunch at the Four Seasons Hualalai, Beach Tree would be the place. Our favorite dish: While simple, the chips, salsa, and guacamole is a nice appetizer for lunch.

Hualalai Grille

Overlooking the 18th hole of the Hualalai golf course, the Hualalai Grille is a steakhouse that offers a club like ambiance. While it offers some of the choicest steaks you can find, there are also other options such as a local Hawaiian fish dish prepared tableside.

Residents Beach House

If you are looking for something very casual, this is the place. While it is casual and the menu simple, on a beach setting with strung lights above it offers a very nice ambiance. If you are looking for a light meal, this restaurant has a very nice selection of appetizers. An additional touch, and probably the kids favorite, is roasting smores on the beach. This happens around sunset between the Beach Tree and ‘Ulu restaurants. If you are eating at ‘Ulu with your children, the dining experience can be longer so this is a great thing for them to do to kill the time.
